Today I passed on a 1911 carbine for 100 dollars. The thing had some rust on the on the outside but the barrel was good, the stock had a crack about two inches on the butt and looked weathered, and it had no magazine. It looked like it could of been fixed up but I was just afraid that a new mag would cost more then the rifle. And Ialso have know idea on what they go for anyway.

Was it wise to pass it up? And if anybody has one show some pics.

not wise to pass it up
go back and buy it ASAP

unless some one hacked the 1911 its well worth the 100$ and if its actually a mislabeled K31, its just as good a buy but with more available parts

A magazine missing isn't too bad and you could probably clean it up nicely. Worth a few times the price.

Still I prefer the full length 1911, or the K31.

Unfortunatly it was at a gunshow and I didn't get the sellers name. I guess I will just have to let somebody else get ahold of it.

Somebody please beat me!:(
