I paid about $70 each for the five I got 2 years ago. Three with Walnut stocks, two with Beach. They look kind of beat up, but are mechanically solid and have mirror bores with sharp lands.I paid about $110 - with a walnut stock. My brother was smart and bought a bunch (dozen) as an investment.
Swiss Ruben sounds like the name of a sandwich. The name Swiss Ruben was written down by me from a cardboard
While we're on the subject, anyone know of a good source of 7.5 Swiss boxer primed brass? Are the Hornady cartridges priced comparable to the surplus GP-11 rounds? I payed $23 for 60 cartridges the last time I found them, i.e., $0.40 per shot. If I could get the Hornady for $0.50 a shot I'd get them and then reload the empty brass.
284 Win brass is usually more expensive than 7.5 Swiss, but if you find some cheap it's a great option.
