I have to switch the mag release on my new Sig P226. I have read a bit on the net and everyone warns of losing small parts. A far as I can ascertain, there are three small parts:
the magazine catch spring, 45
the magazine catch stop spring 47
the magazine catch stop 46.
Do I have them all?
Another thing always mentioned is to avoid putting the mag catch in "backwards". I do not see how that happens. The cutout must match the mag. How could anyone think the cutout goes on the trigger side? Or, do they mean putting the cross hatched end in first. I don't see how that could make any sense either.
