I have been a glock owner for over 20 years now, and I like them. My question is if anyone has come across a switch or device that makes them a machine gun??

I know it is illegal, I do not want one, as I do not see it as a useful thing.

The reason I ask is my State; Delaware, just passed a,law that makes these switches illegal.

They already were illegal under the NFA, and other Delaware laws. I have never seen one or heard if one used in a crime.

Do they actually exist outside of the Glock G18??

This is really a technical question for our semi-auto pistol experts here.

Moderators please move this if you feel it should be in another forum. Thanks.

They exist on the inner city black market. Mostly shipped from China but pretty easy to make by someone with the appropriate skillset. Lots of videos on utooob

Yeah, I have seen them. Makes a Glock one of the most enjoyable machineguns to play with.

You need the correct FFL and SOT to stay legal.

FedBoy be like “ Glock Switch?!?!?!?! were”

just go to a full auto rental range and give it a go. They might even have a real G18 for rent. And you dog will be safe!

There have been two incidents of fully automatic gunfire within 2 blocks of me within the last two weeks here in Murderapolis MN. In one case it was 35 rounds fired, one person shot, another injured by flying glass. Witness at the scene told me that they heard fully automatic gunfire. I was a bit skeptical until 6 days later when I distinctly heard between 15 and 20 round of fully automatic gunfire less than 1,500 feet from my apartment. One person shot and killed and a second also shot but not killed. The word on the street is that some of the gangbangers are using these switches on their pistols.

Yes. They are called auto-sears. Here is a not-as-biased news clip from a few years ago

Some have been recovered in Murderham, AL (Birmingham)

A lot of these Glock switches are marketed and sold as for air soft use only. But they also work on real Glock pistols too. And they have always been illegal per federal law when used on a firearm.

They had a story about 2-3 years ago, that someone pawned a Glock with a switch, the pawn shop didn’t know better, so it was in display with the switch installed.

I forgot to mention that NONE of the local news stations or newspapers mentioned the fact that there was fully automatic gunfire in both of these shootings. The news media is trying to cover this up!

Murderapolis, Minnesota. Home of the MOSTLY peaceful protest!

It let's gun grabbers think they accomplished something. But I suspect most of them are oblivious to the law and are convinced anyone can just go out and buy a machine gun like it's 1933 or something.

Or they WANT their oblivious constituents to THINK anyone can just go out and buy a machine gun or "switch" so as to justify more repressive regulation.

I went to a CLE a few weeks ago, and our local US Attorney spoke. He said that these "Glock switches" can indeed be made on a 3d printer, and they're becoming a problem locally.

That doesn't surprise me one bit since the switch is a very simple design. For years they have been sold on Amazon and eBay as for "air soft use only".

They definitely exist and replace the back plate. I got hold of one overseas (no idea of the origin) and stuck it in my issue Glock to play with on the range, and it was a bullet hose. It was so fast and uncontrollable, I could see someone not experienced with such things shooting himself in the hand- possibly even more than once. I fired a mag with only 3 rounds in it to get an idea of the rate (FAST) then put in a full mag and emptied it in nothing flat. Took it out, put the normal plate back in my Glock, and gave the thing back to the guy who had it. No thank you.

The one I posted in #4 is one of the most enjoyable machineguns I have shot.

We have also played with them stocked, a better choice for folks that are not pistol shooters. Like this G34 machinegun.

I believe SOTs are making Glock 17s full auto (legally) by using these switches/parts?

I don't think they're getting Glock 18 parts unless they have a LEO letter...
