My brand new synthetic stocked Savage Rascal seems to have a weird problem with the stock. The barrel seems to be free floated in the front, but if you press down on it, the barrel can wiggle up and down! I tried tightening the two hex head screws on the bottom of the stock, but no change.
Any advice on dealing with this? I haven't called Savage yet. I tried getting it sighted in, but was frustrated even getting on paper at 50yds. And this is off of a solid rest! Which is extra frustrating, because I have a Savage Cub which shoots great (with the same open sights)
Ideas?
