What synthetic stocks are available? Do they affect accuracy? Pictures anyone?

They do make synthetic stocks for the M1 Garand, just do a google search for "M1 Garand synthetic stock" and you'll get results.

However in my opinion if you want a Garand with a synthetic stock then I would just buy an M1a. The M1 Garand just doesn't seem right to me unless it has a traditional wood stock on it.

You want to put a synthetic stock on a garand?... all the ads say they wont split or warp, but ive never had a wooden stock do that! Are you just wanting tacticool black or? o_O

here's a pic of my garand with a ramline synthetic stock before I sold it:

It was just as accurate with the syn. stock, but recoil was greater, and it just didn't feel (or look) right, so I put the ugly, mismatched wood back on it before I sold it off.

I want one on mine but, can't part with the way the garand was made to look....wooden. I'd buy a dedicated M1 and go synthetic in a heartbeat
