I hear mixed things so I'm hoping here that someone has 1st hand experience with these puppies. I am strongly considering purchasing one. I don't want to spend over a grand on a turkey gun, because it would be a one-trick pony for me, just taken out a few times a year to turkey hunt. Some of my considerations.
1. Assuming that with the flexibility of the Pro Hunter, I'd be able to configure it on occasion with another barrel and have other uses during the year.
2. I want to buy American.
3. Lifetime warranty.
I've read some concerns about the amount of kick that it has. I'm sure it will have much more kick than a semi (but I don't want to spend the money on a limited-use semi) but I have to assume it would be generally equivalent to a pump (the Encore would have a lot of kick, but the Pro Hunter supposedly doesn't have as much due to the construction of the buttstock).
Thoughts? Experiences?
