Well, I recently picked up an Embassy pen. A little overpriced IMO but what the heck. The one thing I do like about it is it doesn't scream "WEAPON!" The blunt ends seem like they would come in very handy applying pressure to someone's ribs, throat, etc., without running a pointy end through the palm of my own hand. And, it writes well.

I also picked up the neatest little flashlight. It is a Maratac AAA LED light. It is 2.7" long with a removable pocket clip. It uses one AAA battery and three different output settings:

Medium Mode, 18lm Output for 4 Hours
Low Mode, 1.5lm Output for 50 Hours
High Mode, 80lm Output for 48 Minutes

And, of course, I picked up some CMMG Tactical Bacon.
Directions: Step 1: Open Can, Step 2: Receive Bacon.

Ahhh, another fan of Countycomm.com!

I could blow the mortgage on their website if I didn't show herculean restraint.

One of my buddies at work got the little flashlight and I was impressed with it.

That place has the greatest stuff-you-never-knew-existed-but-suddenly-want-to-buy. I have that same pen and light, which ride with me everyday at work.

The AAA light is great! I lost mine within a week of getting it, seemingly (not joking) in my sleep...hoping it turns up when I move...but it is def not a tactical light, OP, by any definition I'm aware of. Just sayin. Actually to be honest it is kind of too small, too easy to lose. But it is awesomely bright, bright enough for any task I would ever need it for. Especially with Lithium AAA.

but it is def not a tactical light, OP, by any definition I'm aware of.

Oh, I know. Everyone sticks tactical in front of every other product it seems, so, I just thought that I would join in. It is a really neat little light, though. I wear mine around my neck with a breakaway cord. Real handy.

That pen looks like a missle.

YOU GUYS ARE REALLY JERKS!!! :what:

Now the Old Fuff is going to have to go look. Then he'll bookmark the site and soon thereafter go broke.

Thanks a lot. :D

YOU GUYS ARE REALLY JERKS!!!

No thanks needed, what are friends for.

Be careful, amongst the high tech goodies you'll find wind up watches and old splinter tweezers.;)

CountyComm

And you just know you need an S-biner. Or three.

Oh, and don't forget your T-tool. Awesome for knife maintenance.

And your pocket screwdriver.

Oh, and they have (had?) a Tool Logic knife-and-firesteel combo. Kinda like the ones sold in stores, but without the serrations. I should probably get another one of those.

And, and . . .

:D

Careful on the "S-biners". They need a little add on to keep the gates from opening accidentally. Just get a small coil spring from the hardware store that fits over the gate that's just long enough to keep the gate from opening, but short enough to pull up out of the way to open the gate.

hso, good call...lost some stuff and ended up using electrician's tape, like your idea better

Love to claim the idea but it came from the EDC forums guys. Me, I just cut a piece of tubing and slipped it on, but liked their idea better.

County Comm rocks. The wristwatch guys are all over those milspec watches, which is how I found them. I'm thinking the Breacher Bar looks like a smart item to have. From the description:

A Note From The Legal Department: Although the EOD Breacher Tool was developed and designed to enter the real world of urban combat, and with a little work with a file, belt sander, grinder, stone or a rock to it could be sharpened and converted to a Deadly stabbing or slashing instrument we can't recommend it. Likewise, The Flat on the handle end should not be used as a skull or rib crusher or for performing other blunt trauma. Sorry These Are Not Returnable. Be safe, and don't play with matches or run with scissors.

Nice to meet people who like to play as rough as I do!

thanks for introducing me to countycomm.com, like I dont have enough things to waste my money on! I want a peanut lighter now.

Embassy Pen

Received my own personal Embassy Pen for Father's Day.

Black (aluminum) version. That's a really solid piece of work. Way over-engineered.

Also received their Light My Fire Titanium Spork.

I now officially join the "Skunkabilly Titanium Spork" club. (Sorry, mine doesn't fold like his does.)

BTW, that spork is well conceived, well executed. Works well, too.
