personally I have no desire to do something like that, but I am not sure you can decide what is wasting money unless it is your money. So the answer to wasted gun money is to waste more money? I live in a different world.
I was just going by what he saidpersonally I have no desire to do something like that, but I am not sure you can decide what is wasting money unless it is your money.
Too many people don't enjoy this hobbie. They take it too serious and look down on others. If you can afford it and it gives you pleasure go for it
I have a Heritage Arms 357 magnum taking up space in the gun safe,

obvious this gun isn't a collectable so a shooter not being shot is a waste no? it is for me because I can't afford a lot of guns so I tend to shot all I own regularly.
I would...Ok, before the pitch forks and torches come hear me out on this.... I have a Heritage Arms 357 magnum taking up space in the gun safe, and I was thinking about making it into a new project...Tacticool revolver!
List of wants:
Top rail
Bottom rail
New grips, like the "tactical" (i.e. tear your non-gloved hands up) grips
Sight?
Ported barrel?
New coating, I can not remember the name, but like the finish on a Glock or XD.
Now I understand the idiocy of some of this. In reality I would be happy with a scope mount for hunting, but I tend to have a history of not leaving well enough alone.
Any ideas are appreciated!
Here it is as of now
