I have a PDA and I was wondering if there are any good sturdy metal pens that you can also used as a PDA stylus (I have one made out of plastic, not so tough).

I’ve seen some tactical pens made that say they can be used as a stylus but all they have is a blunt metal tip at one end, that would wreak havoc on my PDA’s screen!:cuss: I want a good plastic tip.

I’d prefer one that didn’t use pressurized ink it’s expensive to replace.

I don't know about tactical, but this stylus is quite a bit better than what I've been using, and the "tip" is a spring-loaded plastic nub.

I think Alpha Innovations is the way to go...edcdepot seems to have the same product perhaaps for cheaper.

I like the price of the Alpha innovations one, does that have a pen in it too or just a stylus?

Honestly the Stylus kubotan (It is the same from AI and ED, pretty sure by the looks of it) looks like the best design I've seen...it can definitely pass as a stylus, and work as one, and that thing would do a lot of damage without breaking the skin.

Yeah, they're the same. Alpha Innovations makes 'em, quite a few companies sell 'em. I have a handful of them. They're useful for all kinds of things.

I'm not sure that an aggressive thrust wouldn't break skin though. The tip is flat, but very thin. In fact, I think you could cause a pretty severe stab wound with one.

Hmm...darn, I was thinking of getting one. Guess I'll get a Stinger instead.

benchmade makes a few different types surefires tactical pen is pointed enough as well and smith and wesson has one that i saw in a bud k catalog and a company called mil-tac has one too

hope this helps

That looks cool. I don't have $30 to spend on that, but that is about perfect. I also EDC the F-701 :)

ha its funny that alot of ppl (myself included) EDC the F-701 5 bux beats the 70-120 that the tacticool pen makers are asking
