Tactical pens...

I have carried this pen several years through airport security. Many times they tell me it's a kubaton and try to take it away I reply that it is a black ink pen. I inform them that I like a pen that doesn't break and is waterproof. I never use the word tactical. I realize it will probably be taken away at some point. Funny thing is a flathead screw driver is perfectly fine to take as long as its 7 in or less. 20180820_213837.jpg

I got a free tactical pen to review from SaharaSailor. And it is one heavy duty pen. I have used the glass breaker tip to pry sliding steel jail doors shut to fix.

When I was traveling on a domestic flight, I was worried that pen would get lifted by TSA and their 5 finger discount. So I got a pen I wouldn't cry over. This one wasn't taken at the security checkpoint when left in my bag. They aren't guns but they are better than nothing. And some have some very useful tools like flashlights.
