taller front sight for a Single Six

I have a Ruger Single Six that shoots a touch high even with the rear sight all the way down. Anyone know where I might find a taller replacement front sight? I looked at Brownells and a couple other places and haven't found one. Thanks

This sight is induction brazed to the barrel and cannot be replaced by normal methods involving a screw-driver.

You would have to send the gun back to Ruger service department for replacement & refinishing the barrel.

I had the same problem when shooting LRs in my SSS...I had a welder friend lay a piece of brass rod the same diameter as the sight width on top of the blade and braze it down, and it worked great.
