Sorry so slow to post a picture. Here is the Tanfoglio 25acp I mentioned in another thread. I got it about a week ago, but I won't get a chance to shoot it for a while. I bought it just for grins. I didn't have a pistol in 25acp. I like Tanfoglio. I heard that the ones made in Italy tend to function okay. And it was cheap.
The slide is steel, but the frame is pot metal of some kind. I had thought maybe the Italian ones had steel frames, but apparently I was wrong. I don't know a whole lot about them.
This one was imported by Excam, and if I am reading correctly was Model GT-27. Most were imported by FIE and called "Titan". IIRC, they couldn't be imported after the 1968 law, and were assembled in Florida of Italian parts after that. Some people say the Italian ones are pretty okay for a small cheap 25acp pistol. I have also read that the ones assembled in Florida tend to have more problems.
If anyone could further educate me about these pistols, or pass on your experiences, I would be grateful.
