Tapco Mini-14 Mags

All,

Searched for info, but only found on small thread on it.

Has anyone used the Tapco Mini-14 mags? I use their mags in my SKS and they are first rate. And, truth be told, I can't afford Ruger Factory mags. I'd like to try the Tapco ones.

So, anyone try them?

They are Pro Mags. The new production steel Pro Mag Mini-14 magazines have a decent reputation over on Perfectunion.com (Mini-14 central on the web). The rep of the polymer mags isn't as good. I have one of the PM steel 20s and it looks almost identical to a Ruger factory 20, though I haven't yet tested it sufficiently to rely upon it for anything other than range use.

I posted a thread asking about Pro-Mags recently ( asking about quality) & I got 3 pages of " They are junk don't buy them"

The response was monolithic & based soley on that I wouldn't own any Pro-Mag product
