"Tapco"

I'd never heard of them until they hired Shana Prevette to work their booth at Shot. Now I think they're marketing geniuses.

You helped me a ton, Craig. What in your opinion do you think makes the Tango better? Is it better polymer, proven on the battlefield, better design??? Just wondering how parts like that can be so different from each other.
Not much. I had to file on mine to get it to slide onto the rail. It feels like a slightly tougher material but it's my least favorite of the three. It's the only one that can be removed without tools but it's so tight on the rail, it's a moot point. Hopefully they're not all like that.

I bought two t6 stocks for sks's + about eight magazines for them. Thier stuff is ok.... i wouldn't trust my life on the magazines and the stocks could have felt a little sturdier. I would say it is good for the price point

Just to update. I did indeed replace the Tapco with a GG&G VFG. Wow, now that one seems awesome. Locks up tight, has the storage, seems strong, but is the lightest I've seen yet. After 500 rounds or so we will see.

Everyone here has there own opinion, here is mine. I really like my tapco equipment, My AR has all Tapco furniture and its just as sturdy as any magpul furniture. (I have owned both) as well as my sks, covered head to toe in tapco and has not given me a single problem. I dont know where yall are getting the bad experiences but mine have worked flawlesly, not to mention they could not have better customer service. Just my 2 cent...

I have a bunch of Tapco AR mags and they have performed flawlessly. I haven't used any of their other products. All my mags are second generation, I can't speak for the first gens.

I use the Tapco G2 triggers in my AK's and a Tapco SAW Grip on my AK's as well and like both these parts. I have tried a few other parts and was not impressed. For a range toy- probably ok.For serious use, course runs, run-n-gun stuff don't think I would buy it. I am from the buy once cry once school.

Some stuff that's REALLY bad: AK folding stock. Hollow plastic hinge pin broke the first day.

TAPCO markets "gee whiz" stuff at a low price point. It is suitable for making a gun look a certain way. Probably not a good buy if you're going to make the gun work very hard for very long.

(In my most humble of opinions.)

I agree with what sam1911 said completely.
