Target Sports USA - Not a scam?

They are legit.

I bought my last 10k Federal SSP from them just before prices went over $80/k...it was a while ago, I've been buying Genix SPP for my pistols since then and saving the Federal for my revolvers

How do you like those Ginex primers?

I ask because a site called American Reloading.com (not on the scam list) has LPP at what looks like good prices. I don't post links to sites I am not sure of, but here is a snippet.

100% legit. I joined their "premium" club or whatever to get discounts and free shipping on even small amounts. Then the big drought hit, and they were out of practically everything. They sent me a few little gifts in compensation -- a mag holder, military ammo can, cheap safety glasses -- oh, well. Not their fault, and I'm sure they were hurting economically as well.

Good company. If you buy a bunch of components and ammo look into their membership. $100 gets you free shipping and an 8% discount. The nice thing is there are no minimums either. You just want a box of something order it and it comes shipped free. They are in CT, they were one of the last few that shipped to NY as they actually read the law and didn’t give in to rumor and innuendo so common amongst our community. Anyway, that has changed after the Bruen ruling so temporarily the state threw everything at the wall to see what sticks. Hopefully I will be ordering direct from them soon again, a class company!

I've been ordering from TSI for years, never a hassle or mix-up. I live close enough that I can pick it up at their location if need be.

A couple years ago they sold HST and Gold Dots for $18 a box of 50 delivered with the Prime Membership.
$160 for a case of 9mm delivered in a couple of days.
I kinda wish I had maxed my CC out and got a couple pallets before it went nutz.

Before I got deep into reloading Target Sports USA was my go-to for bulk 556, 762, hunting ammo, with everything including free shipping.

I was pleased to see that they’re into reloading components now. I will be buying from them when I need to restock

I just bought 5K of the Ginex LPP from American Reloading to try them out. I'll let you know if they show up, lol. They've been linked to on the components thread, and others have bought from them. They do take credit cards, so seem legit.

Thanks. Someone told me those were dirty, but since I am using 700X a little more from a primer won't make a difference.

The site looked legit to me. If I was setting up a scam site I would use premium brands as the bait, not Bosnia mil spec stuff.

I am leery of larger purchases of components or ammunition I have not used before.

I saw Norma Tac 22 at half price at Sportsman's. I thought it was supposed to be premium ammo. Bought a 1000 rounds. Total bust. Would not reliable cycle any of my four 0.22 semiauto hand guns. Two Buckmarks, a Mark III and a S&W 41.

Did a few searches and found out people have been having trouble with that stuff for years. Works for some, but people who have clocked it put in in the 800-900 ft. per second range. Supposed to be at 1100. Might be why it was on sale. I kept a few hundred rounds for my .22 rifle bolt action, which I hardly ever shoot, and gave the rest to a friend who has a .22 revolver.

Live and learn.

Looking forward to how those primers workout for you.

I ordered the 5,000 winchester SPP on Friday and they arrived on Wednesday. I think I had 480 in them shipped. I am happy to have them and shake my head that I paid that much. but after 3 years of shooting less trying to stretch my stash I couldn't take it. Someday I will be too old to shoot and enjoy it the way I do now.

These guys have Win SPP for sale at $83/1000 and free shipping. 99 left. There does not appear to be a limit.

Not on the scam list.

I put 4 boxes in my cart and went far enough in the checkout process to see if they accepted credit cards and they do.

No other red flags. BBB Approved, or at least they say so.

Anybody have any experience with these guys?
Because they ship to a California FFL, I tried them out recently for ammo. They were totally legit in my experience. I’ll buy from them again

I commented above that I used them before in the past. On 10 Feb 2023 at 8:50p (late Friday) I ordered a case of .22LR. Today is 15 Feb and it’s out for delivery. I’m really considering joining their ‘club’.
