You can go to
www.taurusarmed.net and ask about your problems and use it as a source for your gun.
Most of the problems come from either not cleaning and lubing the gun prior to range use the first time or from possible software problems or new to shooting the gun syndrome.
There are many things that the shooter may be doing unintentionally wrong and not know it.
The reason I say that is Taurus 24/7s are similar to DAO triggered pistols and a lot of shooters have little experience with this kind of gun.
Ammo preference is another bugaboo to look at. First of all the gun needs a break in period of at least 200-500 rounds. Depends on the model of gun.
It could be just of case of ammo selection. Pistols can be finicky about the ammo they will shoot. Try a few boxes of other brands and bullet weights.

This link covers compact pistols, but the same things can be said about full size or medium sized guns as well.
Gun magazines also need a break in period of sorts. For example, I have a PT132 that had a few problems with the action staying open for the first two or three uses on a empty magazine. After that there have been no mishaps in the last twenty- thirty uses after that.
All firearms are like cars. They need break in periods to get parts to a point where they work and mesh well. Each individual gun is a case by case basis and an entity unto itself.
Next is the user getting the proper grip, stance, and finger pressure as well as a good follow through on the trigger. Any glitches in those can cause any pistol to malfunction or shoot off point if not done correctly.
When I first started shooting my PT111 and PT111 Mil/pro I was a novice to DAO or SA/DA triggers. I had a mentor watch and give positive critical feedback and criticism. This helped me become a better shooter sooner and get rid of bad habits that could or were creeping up into my shooting. Prior to this I had shot only revolvers or Ruger conventional DA/SA pistols.
So there are some causes and effects to look at.
Taurus guns, as well as other brands that come right out of the box generally and may need preservant grease to be cleaned out of all the nooks and crannies. That includes the firing pin channel as well. Then a good lubing on the rails and other metal contact points is called for.
Sometimes it's the overlooked things that can get in the way.
