Hello all. This is my first post; I am one of those silent majority types. Anyway, I have a Taurus 605 2/14" 357 Mag Stainless revolver that I bought before I learned I'm an auto guy. I have had a problem with the cylinder binding after shooting .357 mag (no problem with .38 Spl). Can't rotate it in single or double action. I sent it back to Taurus and they "repaired" it. I now am experiencing the problem again. Anyone ever have this happen?

Thanks!!!

Could be a number of things but these are posibilities:

1. Check and be sure the firing pin spring hasn't been "smuched" by dry firing. Also look at the fired Magnum cases to see if there is any kind of a ridge around the firing pin indentation in the primer.

2. But sure there isn't fouling under the extractor star. This is an area that must be kept clean.

3. Taurus revolvers sometimes have very tight barrel/cylinder gaps. Be sure leading on the fromt of the cylinder isn't causing a problem.
