A buddy of mine just picked up a new Taurus 605.
Deal is, when you close the cylinder unless you index it until it locks you can't cock the hammer or squeeze the trigger.
It's funny, because this is the exact reason why I passed on buying a 605 when I was in the market for a snub. The one I handled did the identical thing, and this one has been doing it since before the first time he fired it.
I'm telling him it's a big deal that needs to be corrected, he's a new gun owner and doesn't think it's that big of a deal (it's new, it has to be working right, right? :banghead
Is this a "standard problem", or am I going to have to keep hounding him to call Taurus to get it made right?
