I've been browsing the Taurus website and noticed that they have a 9mm snub nosed revolver. Does anyone have any kind of experience with this revolver? Would the 2 inch barrel negatively affect the performance of even premium HP rounds? Thanks.

I have the 905 in stainless with a concealed hammer. I have had no problem with shooting HP for accuracy and or reliability.
I usually only shoot it for self defense distance only because of the barrel length. The only drawback some of my buddies say at the range is that I have to use stellar clips. But for me this had never been an issue.
I was able to pick it for a great price as it was used from a LGS several years ago.

I purchased a 905IB. I liked the idea of a 9mm revolver in theory, but found that in reality it wasn't as great as I imagined. I wasn't crazy about the Taurus stellar clips. I felt that I had less ammo selection (for different applications) than with a 38 Special, and to top it off my revolver would lock up for no apparent reason from time to time. The only benefit was matching calibers with a 9mm semi-auto. That's not to say you won't get a good one, and like having a revolver in 9mm. It just wasn't for me.

I had one for a while.I have a S&W 9mm auto pistol and I thought it would be cool to have the same low cost 9mm ammo for both. This would be great if it was for concealment only and you never shot the thing. The revolver was good quality and the moon clips didn't bother me at all.Actually it holds them all together and it's faster to load and unload them because of the moon clips. He's why I sold it at a loss! That 9mm round snaps so hard and stings your fingers and tendons so bad good riddence to it. I like to shoot my guns not polish and look at them.A 38 special would be better in a 2 inch barrel. If it was ported or came in 3 or 4 inches it would be a better gun for my purposes.I'm 6'1' and 270.lbs. I'm no wimp but if a owner does'nt say it's no fun to shoot there not being truthful.
