I own a Taurus 357 Tracker and love the way it shoots. Problem was after about 250 rounds through it, the cylinder began turning feely. Failed to lock up. Couldn't pull the trigger back to cock the gun in double action and in single action the hammer wouldn't pull back. I had to jiggle the cylinder to line it up properly before it would cock. I took it to a gunsmith who said "send it back to Taurus". He didn't want anything to do with it. I sent it back on Feb 21st and after calling several times, was just told today that they are only working on guns from the 3rd of Feb!:banghead: Are they nuts? I would think if they had such a long backlog they better 1) hire more people & 2) seriously look into the quality of their product! Now I'm told another three weeks or so All the Atta Boys they get because they're starting to improve etc are wiped out with one Aw S t! As much as I like the way the Taurus handles and shoots (and I have S&W and Rugers also) I will never purchase another one! I sent the S&W back for repair (all guns break at one time or another) and it was back in my hands in three weeks. Taurus has lost a customer and a recommendation for me forever.
Whew! Now I feel better!
