DA

I dont mean to hijack the thread if I am but this seems realavant still, sorta. ok last night I held my gun in front of me so I could see it's profile, pulled thr trigger in SA then in DA a and I noticed that the hammer does not come back as far on DA. I dont know if thats the problem (I havnt had it mine) or if that is common in revolvers. I know this is the autoloader forum so sorry for revolver talk. If I get comfortable with Taurus I may get the new 1911. It all depends on how the Tracker does.

Thanks for letting ask these question and thanks for the replys!!

hopefully this will help Lostone too

I bought a "used" PT111 Mil Pro from my local dealer. Love it! Have only been out twice shooting, but it really like the 147gr personal protection rounds, but they are getting expensive.

I just bought a brand new PT-92SS from the same dealer. Great looking and feeling gun. I think the grip is a bit thick, but we'll see how well I can shoot it. Both are 9mm.

I am looking at getting a laser to mount on the rail of the PT92, anybody have a response to that?

Cheers,
George

Taurus is the younger sibling no one wants to acknoledge. I just wish they'd work all the bugs out of there poly 45's. All of them.
I love there clone PT92/PT1911. Best bang for the buck.
Dose anyone know if there going to put out a commander sized PT1911. That would be really nice and if so when this year.

I will stop into my dealer and ask about the 1911. I just don't care for them, sorry. (Just like some people don't care for MY guns in the pics).

I just happened up this PT-92SS in his case two weeks ago, and I let it sit there until last week, when I bought it and picked it up this Tuesday. I am (hopefully) going out tomorrow to shoot. I am psyched! :D

Cheers,
George

1911

I went to my local retailer and he has a Taurus 1911 brand new, price $590.

OUCH!

He said he had one just like that one three months ago...I never got to see that one. But he also said HIS COST went up about $50 in that time, so the OTHER one he had sold for about $540, he said.

He also has another PT92SS coming in, just like mine in the above pics, if anyone is interested.

I don't know about THAT price, but I will check if there is any interest (mine was $500 OTD).

He also still has the little Kel-Tec .38 back-pocket job...$290 (I think).

Cheers,
George

Nice pistolas. Too bad Taurus had to muck them up with the rails, ruins their profile, in my opinion. ;)

This is my PT92AFS. It's 14+ years old, but it still shoots like a champ.
