Taurus Millenium Pro PT111 Finishes

I'm strongly considering getting a Millenium Pro in 9mm, but am unsure about which finish to get. The stainless only costs about $10 more than the blue.

I really like the look of the blue finish much more than the stainless - I think it blends in well with the polymer frame. However, I know that stainless is much more durable, and does much better with corrosion. My question is, how much better is stainless? Is there that big of a difference between modern blue finishes and stainless? I have a Ruger Security Six that is over 30 years old, and the blue finish on it still looks good.

Also, any opinions on the titanium slide? I noticed that the gun is slightly wider and shorter (height is less) than the stainless or blued finishes. Seemed kind of odd to me. Is the titanium finish (which would be more durable than stainless or blue) worth the extra $70?

I like stainless for IWB for sure. Any other finish is a pain IWB. My blued Kel Tec is looking pretty rough after 8 years of carry. Don't really matter what it looks like I guess, just what it shoots like, but in my experience stainless is a lot easier to take care of and will stay looking sharp. Another bonus to stainless is you don't have to use so much friggin' lube on it, just a light wipe with a rag before putting it up will do. You have to keep a blued gun pretty lubed up to keep the rust off what with all the sweat it's exposed to in summer IWB use. Oil CAN foul primers, sorta makes me nervous to get too much on the gun. Regardless, any blued gun is going to wear the bluing off (holster wear) with a lot of carry.

I've got a Taurus M85UL stainless cylinder etc with alloy frame that's still looking good after 6 years of carry. Any time I have the option in a handgun, I'll go Stainless.

Living up here in the Pacific Northwest, on the rainy side, I prefer stainless when available for the corrosion resistance. Now mind you, none of my blued firearms have corroded, but they take slightly more work to ensure this.
