Had a chance today to handle both a Taurus PT111 and a Springfield XD Service Model. Didn't get to fire but I got to hold in my hand and both feel pretty godd. Didn't get to take any shot's with it though today, maybe in the future.
Since i really only got to handle it a little bit but not fire I can only make a few observations.
Both feel pretty good but the Taurus PT111 was a bit smaller so it seemed like when I get a CCW in the future it would make a bit better carry weapon. Plus it was cheaper to boot which makes it attractive as well. Both took 9mm.
Anyone know much about them having fired them or anything? Just holding them it is kind of hard to figure which would end up the more reliable, accurate, etc. And just holding it both felt equally good. And I don't really know much about Taurus or the brand in general.
Thoughts on which one to go for?
