But they don't work for the PRO models. Just the earlier ones.

They fit the 2nd PRO gen just fine, but at least on mine they are shooting way low.

They just won't work on the newest PRO models (3rd gen, heinie sights).

Anybody else have the Trijicons for the Mil Pro?

This is what I carry and I love this weapon. I have never had one single problem. I also had the end of the barrel crowned by a gunsmith which made it even more accurate!

I just bought one of these. I liked the tiny package with 10+1 .45. Although, after reading several threads here about it's unreliability I was a bit worried about it. Well I took in out this weekend and tried 3 different types of ammo, and it ate them all with no problems - Remington 230 grain JHP, Winchester 230 JHP, and Winchester 185 grain Silvertip HP.

MudCamper,

I use the Winchester 185 Grain Silvertips. Good ammo. DON'T use +P ammo in this gun. It's not rated for it and it will compress the spring of your captive recoil spring/guide rod combination enough to make the pistol be out of battery. Keep with the regular stuff and you are just fine. Learn from my mistakes.

If you're looking for better sights, instead of the Heines, Wilson Combat 1911 sights will fit. I have them on my 111 mil. pro.

Welcome to HTR davelikegun! Did you replace the rear sights on your PT111 Pro or both front and rear. I noticed wilson also has night sights. Wonder if those would fit my Gen 3 PT140 Pro?

They will work for the Millennium Pro Second Generation DAO like mine....It has the screw on sights.

I changed both front and rear. Th Wilson sights will fit all the newer mil pros. The front dovetail is an exact fit, and the rear is a little loose, but once you tighten the set screw, its rock solid. I also made a small shim to snug it up.
