Odd issue started the other night. When the slide cycles, the trigger bar does not drop back into the slot in the slide for it. it wants to ride along the bottom of the slide, then will drop into place as soon as I move the trigger slightly.

Doesn't appear to be affecting the function of the gun, but it is resulting in an extra "click" from shot to shot, and I can feel it in the trigger.

It started in the middle of shooting a string. I've dissembled it and reassembled - but as yet cannot identify why it's doing that. anyone here familiar with them and seen that issue?

What type grips? Something could be messing with the bar and/or spring. One of the many reasons my old unit dumped the M9 years ago.

Unload the gun. Unload the gun again. Spray a light mist of light oil onto the external linkage, turn the pistol on its side and pull the trigger about 50 times then wipe off excess oil and see if your problem has vanished. If it persists then you may have trash/lint/gunk in a spot that is causing it to drag. Keyboard cleaner (compressed air variety) works well to blow crud out.

Finally figured out what was happening. When you rack the slide, the trigger bar slides past the side of the hammer. I think it's supposed to ride in front of the lower curved section of the hammer. The"click" is the bar returning to the front of the hammer, then snaps back into it's normal position. Thinking it'll need to go to Taurus. Either the end of the bar has worn off, or the hammer is a little narrower than spec. Damn.

I need to see a picture of this to understand what your dealing with. It would not surprise me to have a part out of spec, but I don't see how it could wear down to create a problem unless you were really high with round count.

You can see where it slips over the hammer
