I have a question.

I've shot about 4 different factory loads on my 454 Taurus Raging Bull, and only Magtech FMJ cartridges get stuck in the cylinder and can't push em out with an ejector rod, I have to put a screw driver or pen from the front to push each cartridge out.

Has anyone experienced something similar on Magtech 260gr. FMC Flat?? Since I haven't had problems with 2 other Magtech JHP's and Corbon's, I'm assuming that it's not a problem with a cylinder, but perhaps particularly hot load over expanding the brass? Should I be worried?

-is there a crud ring perhaps?
-are the "problem" casings nickel plated by any chance?
-do they jam after an extremely thorough cleaning with a bore brush and bore brush wrapped in solvent coaked patch, then using the problem ammo?
-tried more then one box or lot number of th issue ammo?

I've shot some 45 Colts, so there is a very light ring, but I've cleaned the HECK out of these cylinders and since I don't have a problem with stuck brass, I doubt that it's a cylinder.

Brass is not nickel plated, (I think) and besides, other Magtech ammos seem to have identical brass and are not causing problems.

I've shot almost 2 1/2 boxes of these from 2 lot numbers and I seem to have problem ONLY with FMJ Magtech....it has to be ammo, don't you think??

Makes no sense really then. May be worth a try measure the diameter of the loaded and fired cartridges on the toublesome stuff and comparing to the good non sticking magtech to see if they expand differently on firing.
Its wierd because the only Raging Bull with cases sticking is that some of the 444 Ultralite will indeed stick if its a high pressure load.
