I bought a Taurus TCP .380 about 2 months ago. The first time I ran a box through it the side of the frame bulged out to the point where the slide latch would not engage or disengage without doing it manually. It didn't affect any other functions of the gun. I noticed the slide wasn't locking back or disengaging when the mag wasn't in, but didn't notice the bulge for a couple mags.
I sent the gun into Taurus and got it back within a couple weeks fixed.
I shot it for the first time today since I got it back. I shot can couple mags of Federal Champions through it and the same thing happened again. I shot a couple more mags through it and it seemed to go away. Now it seems to be okay. Anybody know why a gun would be doing this?
I know that if I send it back to Taurus again they will not see anything wrong and just send it back to me.
What would you all suggest?
