I purchased a TH9C back in the winter and just now getting out to shoot due to corona virus.
I found that after de-cocking if I pull the trigger it will not fire until the second trigger pull, this only happens if I de-cocked it.
The hammer seems to drop to far when de-cocked as I can pull the hammer 1/16" of an inch and hear a click and the hammer will lock
in place a little further back than from the de-cocked position, I can then pull the hammer just a tad more an there is a second click and the de-cocker lever will move slightly, pulling the hammer back again to the third click and it is in the fully cocked position.
I found that after de-cocking if I pull the hammer slightly to the first click the firearm will fire every time with the trigger pull.
Anyone else had this problem or know the cause or a solution? I called Taurus and they want 50.00 for a shipping label and said the wait is at least three months.
