tell me about my Sig p220

So I've tried to nail this exact model down. It seems to fall in between certain criteria for determining the variant. Here's a pic





the slide reads SIG SAUER Made in W. germany but further back it also says EXETER, NH. The Scoremarks on the bottom of the front frame are KH (1998?). The side mag release is on the right side, not the decocker side.


Thanks for the help. Is it possible this is a mix of parts and not an original pistol? I've made threads about issues I've had, but I ordered the parts kit and it runs like the champ that it is now.

Looks like a W German P220 which has had the mag release switched. The markings sound right. IIRC they did not change the rollmarks to German on the P220s until later. At worst you have a older slide which was put on to a newer frame. Sig did this all the time.
