I am considering on of these in 9mm and would like some info on them please. First off is are these really big guns i.e. like my beretta 92fs or a glock 21 for example? I've never seen one in person but have heard they are about the same size a P228,I'am thinking with the hi-caps now available again I'd like a compacy light 9mm. That being said are these good gun for ccw use? I currently carry 1911's and my beretta sometimes to so I'am thinking carrying the sigpro should pose no real issues. Also some pics of your sigpros would be very nice to :) Overall how well do you like your sigpro pistols?

I have a SIGPro 2340. It is a fairly large gun, about the same size as my Kimber Custom Defender II. Fit, finish, and function have been flawless. I liked mine so much I bought another one and have it in my gunsafe. Sorry, I don't know how to post pictures.

Love mine - accurate and a joy to shoot. It's not small, so don't plan on using as a pocket pistol. But Sig quality for $399 (~1 year ago) is hard to beat. :)

Very good gun, excellant trigger! It is a little on the "big" side, but if you are used to CCW with the others this should be fine. I had the 9mm and had the slide hard chromed, someone made me and offer and well...worst mistake I've made in a while was letting him have it :banghead:

I used to own a SIGPro 2340 40 cal and I REALLY regret getting rid of it. I just picked up a 2009 yesterday...would have waited for another 2340 but I already bought a SIG P229 40 so I couldn't justify that.
They are very underrated guns, excellent accuracy and reliability and very much a carryable pistol.

I, too, like my SIGPro 2340. It's a little bit taller, but slightly shorter and slimmer than my P226.

If you can pack a 1911 or 92fs, you shouldn't have a problem with the SIGPro.

One of the most under rated pistols ever IMO . I have one in .357SIG and am nothing but happy with it : 100% reliable , as accurate as any metal SIG with a great trigger . The only thing that I would like would be more grip options .

It's heresy I tell you. A plastic SIG, who in their right mind. :scrutiny:

OK I ADMIT IT, STOP LOOKING AT ME LIKE THAT! I have tried a few and all of them have triggers even better than the classic line and they were all accurate, reliable and darn it oozing with SIG quality.

They are very underated and it pains me to say so.

From one SIG traditionalist to you.

Chris
