10. When you bang your cheap wooden/plastic stock into a rock/truck/liberal/zombie you wont cry when it gets a nick or ding

9. When your away and a theif breaks into your home, he's more likely to take your AR than your Hi-Pointe

8. Nobody will ever ask "Hey can I shoot that?"

7. You will never have to worry about touching up that blue job(the worse the finish the less ugly it becomes, hopefully)

6. Its not sexy/scary enough for gun-grabbers to selectively target and ban

5. While resale may suffer, there will be plenty of them up on the chopping block at every other gunstore within driving distance.

4. You can always claim pedigree over design. "Nice AR, but my Howa comes from the same place as Ninja swords so its like 40x better!"

3. Tapco will most certainly offer accessories for it sooner or later.(is that a good thing?)

2. When packing, if you print bystanders are more likely to ask why you have such an ugly animal under your shirt..not why you've got a gun.

1. Almost always(unless its european) Ugly guns are cheaper guns, and often no worse than anything else on the market.

Not true...

I've seen guys drool to shoot the ugliest guns ever made, and IL is trying to ban them all.

Someone needs to add chlorine to that gene pool.

15. You can buy many for the price of one pretty gun and have spares everywhere. Like under the dashbord, in the tree, under the couch etc. so you are never far away from a gun, who needs to carry.

16.) When you offer to donate your gun the gun club to help raise money in a raffle, the club says "no thank you".

17) Am I ugly, am I beautiful, am I a collectors item? There are no ugly guns, beautiful guns, collectors guns or shooters guns. Only its current owner can decide. :)

If I shoot a tight group with my Kimber Gold Match, I suspect people are thinking, "Well, that's a thousand dollar gun." But if I shoot a tight group with my incredibly beat up Stevens #10, they might think, "Wow, he can shoot."
