Tired of rattling handguards? How about noisey sling swivels or metal tri-glides and adjusters scratching the finish on your boutique AR?

Well worry no more, my friends! The answer is here-

Originally intended for automotive wiring harness applications, this stuff is made of a sort of soft cloth, is strong, slightly stretchy, non-conductive, non-reflective, and best of all high temp and chemical resistant so the adhesive wont seep all over the place and make a mess like regular black vinyl electrical tape-

Get a roll and you wont believe how many uses you will find for it. Good stuff!

Im actually thinking of replacing the roll of duct tape in my Bug Out Bag with this stuff- its stronger and almost impossible to rip.

Its not quite as grippy as skateboard tape, but could be used for grips that are a little too slick too.

I wish it came in different colors, could be used as an easy camo application.

Come to think of it, I have a steering wheel thats delaminating and I bet this stuff would work well as a wrap.....:D

Probably not so much. Tapes aren't good for items which get handled frequently. My preference would be pull a decent one from a yard or get factory leather wrap to sew in place (great results if a bit tedious). Both options are generally inexpensive.

I like hockey stick tape. Wrap the tubular handguards on my hunting AR's to make them quieter and helps keep them from making my hands cold in colder weather.

You can also see I taped the scope caps on my 450 BM. The Vortex caps kept trying to fall off.

Yep, you don’t tear it like other tapes, we use it to protect insulation on liquid to air intercooler tanks and lines. I use it on the end of braided wire sleeving but not continuous as it’s a pain to get off at that point.
