Texas 30.06 Sign legality?

I'm wondering how many people actually read the laws and regulations associated with concealed carry permits. It clearly states that business owners may post such signs, but must be in a clear and conspicuous manner for all to easy see. MAybe not exact words, but close enough. This may vary state to state, but had you read those papers, you'd know this.

When you sign those papers for your CCW permit, you are making a legal agreement to abide by such regulations.

Wonderful code for a gun-carry law though; 30.06.

Reading the laws and regulations and understanding them seem to be two separate affairs.
No, I'm fairly certain the law states that 30.06 compliance means "exact" words. Verbatim.

Well......I have purchased jewelery at Kay's several times in the past for my girl friend and daughter.
So,this past Friday after I get off work I head over to the local mall to knock out my Christmas shopping and had a discount letter from Kay's and headed there when I see the same signage and put the brakes on hard before entering.
I am now so accustomed to carrying my pistol that I actually at times forget I even have it on me.
But that 30.06 sign got my attention really fast.
I turned around and went straight to Sears and bought the jewelery.
That signage cost Kay's my $150.00 Friday.
I am sure it's not hurting them but they did not get my money and good old Sears did.

Send Kay's a note, include a photocopy of your Sears receipt, and explain that the sign cost them at least one sale.
