dunno Geezer what do you mean? If you are saying that there should be no debate on a subject like this, then I fear you have misconstrued the meaning of 'high road'.
It is a perfectly valid point of view, to disagree with letting blind people hunt, have CCW licenses, drive cars, or what ever other activity is being discussed, that requires being able to see what you are doing. Whether you agree or not, does not invalidate other positions.

Along with the lack of maturity in some people's posts, there seems to be a lot of ingorance as well. There are blind people out in the woods hunting already, its perfectly legal. They have a second person line up the shot for them before they shoot. A laser sight allows for the helper to more easily align the shot to ensure a clean kill. I saw an outdoors show that had a segment an a blind bowhunter who was not only an excellent archer, but got a buck every year.

Yes, the laser sight would actually make it safer for blind people to hunt.
