I bought a 45 colt Lee 4 die set . The expander was really sticking to the brass on the powder through die. Read some old posts on how to fix with emery cloth and Flitz polish. What a difference!
My other 3 sets of Lee pistol dies don't stick, but I'm gonna polish them anyways .

Glad you found a cure here. This is a great forum with many who are willing to help. I have gotten plenty of help over the years here and also appreciate everyone.

Congrats on using the search engine. It's a great way to pick the brains of those who have passed on...

Been here on a regular basis since 2009.
For you math majors, that's 10years.

And I still learn new stuff almost every day.

Thanks for sharing. This will help me out. I just set aside a 9mm Lee die set for just that reason. Expanding was becoming a chore...nearly as much effort getting the cases off the expander as it took to resize after firing...maybe more. I’m planning to teach a guy how to reload, as he just setup a range in his back property and I want access. But I was feeling bad about handing down some dues that I tired of using. Time to find some Flitz and try a light polish.
