Recently asked for advice on seating HBWC .38 spl bullets for use in my club's PPC competition.
Many folks responded with their results, pressure changes etc.
Finished my first batch of 100 HBWC reloads with the bullet seated just barely below the case mouth and the crimp slightly rolling over the face of the bullet. With a bit more care, they work just fine with my Safariland comp III speedloader less so with HK speedloaders. 2.7 grains of the old standby Bullseye propellant.
Will discover how they shoot tomorrow at my club/
Thanks again for the suggestions, information and advice.

Good luck, they look good! It’s probably one of the most magical combinations one can load.

They shot a nice group at 25 yards a little high and left, The revolvers sights were set for 125 gr TC flat point bullets so the POI was expected. They did work well with the Safariland speedloader and ok with the HKS. Overall a good win as the POI is a few clicks away on the Holosun.
