Well after the .22 Mrod was returned because it shot patterns vs groups, the new .25 came in. It was pretty windy today so I setup half in the shop and half out and ran a few quick 5 shot groups with 4 different pellets.

Was pretty happy that it doesn't seem to be pellet picky, so I set up the chrono (@ 10yds, just outside the shop, so they are around 30fps slower than actual muzzle velocities) and ran a quick 24 shot string of the cheapest pellets at 25 yds.

Looks like accuracy should be great down to 2600ish?

I have a .22 that is wonderful. If I had to get another maybe .177 ?
Although a .25 would be super cool too. Or maybe a .30 FX Bobcat. Lots of good options.

Try some shots at longer range 50-75 yards+, I bet the groups don't open up all that much. Did you go traditional or synthetic?

It is a synthetic, all 24 shots chronographed went into the target in the 2nd photo but that was only at 25 yds. The .22 one I had would pattern vs groups.

I did get in a run on my "small" plate rack @ 60 yds before the rain came in.

Cool range.

It's might just be the camera angle but it looks like the barrel band may be close to touching or touching on the barrel sleeve on the left hand side.

How do you like the Center Point? I find mine more than adequate up to about 12 power.

Must be angle, the band is the first thing I checked out of the box.

The CP is not as good of a value as the old Tasco's but I have had bad luck with them lately (0-4 on being able to track correctly) decided I had already spent enough on gas returning them to try out the CP. It works as it should and is still cheap relative to what I consider "good" glass.
