The best #1 light/lazer for Glock 23?' I'm looking for the best/#1 glock 23 lazer and light or just light attachment. I want to be able to leave it off and put it on each night. It must be the some kind of balance between the brightest light with a trusted battery life, hopefully with a great warrenty for the product. Hopefully with easy on off capability or a grip switch to power the light and all suggestions welcome?

I don't know the answer, but just note the reason Glock created the Gen 4 guns is because of reliability issues with lights attached to the previous generation G22/G23 guns.

Surefire X300U-A would be a good one to look at. It's an easy on/off system than the Streamlight TLR's, output is at 600 lumens and battery life is rated at 1.5 hours of continuous use. Downside, they're a little on the expensive side when compared to the Streamlight TLR's.

I've got a Blackhawk night ops on my service weapon. It took me some time to get used to but once I did I can honestly say I trust my life with it. I've owned streamlight products before and never had an issue with them either.

The only brand of handgun mounted tactical light that I have any experience with is Streamlight. I've had the TLR-2 laser/light combo on my Beretta .40 for 6 or 7 years now. Its been solid as a rock as far as durability and performance. No tools needed to attach or dismount. If I recall correctly, its rated at 300 lumens at 2.5 hours run time, laser run time is 2 days so its pretty easy on battery life.

The TLR and the ITI M6 are both good choices. Remember that if you intend to holster this thing, the holster must accommodate the specific light/gun combo.
