And the thing broke!! Gezzzz....
I guess Keltec couldn't fix the problem on the particular pistol because they sent them a new pistol. Just when I was getting ready to trust Kel-tec again. :banghead:
I couldn't find the article online so I'll type part of it in.
Several days later, disaster struck. A freind was visiting from out of town, and we took the Kel-Tec and several other guns out to the desert for a shooting session. My freind took three shots with the P-32, and then said, " I think I broke it". Sure enough, the trigger flopped back and forth, apparently disconnected from the rest of the firing mechanism.
That reminds me of my P32 when the magazine catch blew out of the weapon after the first magazine full.
In all fairness, Keltec did make good on the warranty and sent them a new weapon. Also it shot great groups and didn't have any problems the first two hundred rounds fired with assorted ammo. Nor were any problems documented with the replacement weapon.
I know there are many satisfied users out there. Still..it makes me very reluctant to trust Keltec for a bit. Perhaps their .380 offering will be a bit better.
Edited to add...I peeked over at gunbroker.com. It seems that the value of these pistols are increasing slightly. I rememeber when they were an average of $175 or so. The are about $225 now.
