The Dreaded Bushmaster.

As the events unfolded on Dec. 14, 2012 at Sandy Hook Elementary, the press put up file photos of the firearms supposedly used. We were told a Glock, Sig, and a Bushmaster were used. Then their coroner stated that most victims were shot multiple times with the Bushmaster.

Now I can't sit and watch CNN, FOX, etc. 24 hours a day. However, I have never seen any crime photos of the exact guns used. I would think that there would be photos or video of cops carrying the firearms out of the building, especially with the number of news agencies that were there.

I've looked, but have not been able to find anything. Has anyone actually seen any photos (other than file photos) or video coverage of the cops carrying a Bushmaster out of the building? If so, can you place a link to where we might be able to see the exact AR-15 / M-4 used?

Police reports said that the wicked Bushmaster was found in the back seat of his car. Was never used inside the building. They only recovered handguns.

The video I saw showed a shotgun with a pistol grip being removed from the murderer's car trunk. The LEO can be seen jacking shotgun shells out of it.

Not a Bushmaster.

The uninformed looked at the profile of this shotgun and jumped to the wrong conclusion.

So many conflicting reports. It was reported that the Bushmaster was found inside the building. Now it was "in the back seat". How can THAT level of information be messed up? It seems pretty straight forward, does it not? "In the building." "In the back seat." Can't be in both places.

IF found in the back seat [Saiga shotgun in the trunk], . . . AND only handguns used, then adding it to "the reasons we need an "assault weapons ban" is absurd.

All I've seen is that the Saiga was in the car, not inside the school.

Just to play devils advocate, if the saiga wasn't converted and only had a 5 round mag it dosent look tacticooly scary.

STATE POLICE IDENTIFY WEAPONS USED IN SANDY HOOK INVESTIGATION;
INVESTIGATION CONTINUES


In previous press conferences, the Connecticut State Police clearly identified all of the weapons seized from the crime scene at Sandy Hook Elementary School.

To eliminate any confusion or misinformation, we will again describe and identify the weapons seized at the school crime scene.



Seized inside the school:

#1. Bushmaster .223 caliber-- model XM15-E2S rifle with high capacity 30 round magazine



#2. Glock 10 mm handgun



#3. Sig-Sauer P226 9mm handgun



Seized from suspect’s car in parking lot:

#4. Izhmash Canta-12 12 gauge Shotgun (seized from car in parking lot)



This case remains under investigation.

There are no official anythings except the above because the complete investigation report has not been released yet.

The "Bushmaster in the trunk" myth is just a news slip-up that conspiracy fans and people on our side desperate for it to be true keep repeating without bothering to look at the video that CLEARLY shows a shot gun shell being ejected from a shotgun.

All the vids I've seen "proving" that the AR was not used are just repetition from some very early news feed in the immediate hours afterward when everyone is speculating. I know because I saw the same video live when it happened. I'd be interested in any credible video or other information with a 2013 date that indicates the rifle was not used. Unfortunately if some existed the conspiracy contingent wouldn't need to cite old video.

Also, anyone else seen the footage of the medical examiner who said he could not distinguish whether the victims were shot with a rifle or handgun? SERIOUSLY? Did he get his degree through the mail or something?

I am not a conspiracy person or anything but there is a lot of things that seem fishy and/or poorly handled with the investigation, timing, details and media coverage.

Here's a media report on comments from the coroner in CT. No AR-15 used per the report.

Of course, the media has been so accurate when it comes to the Sandy Hook tragedy.

I live near Sandy Hook, next town over actually and the school is only 5 miles from my house.

There is a gag order in place so until the official investigation is closed we will not have the answers. However; the Medical Examiner confirmed that all were shot with the 223 except the shooter himself. Being a member of the community and doing what I do for a living, I know some of the police and fire personnel who responded. Even they have conflicting stories... But one thing that all the guys I know who were there agree on is that the first officers to arrive on the scene arrived at 9:50 am, 20 minutes after the 911 calls started coming in.

More than enough time to kill a class full of kids, walk back out to the car which was parked in a fire lane near the front entrance and switch weapons, re-entering the school before police got there.

There is no media footage because media wasn't allowed up by the school... the closest news stations are an hr away and the road to the school was blocked by the time they arrived... All the news people were kept away from the scene it's self and only the birds had a clear view of the school.
