You all probablly get near as many as I do, some mor some less. I make that critcal mistake of sighning up for a free 10 thousand dollar gun sweepstake or some other nonsense. Before you can say, Croatia, you are getting 30 a day.
So what are they trying to sell us, is it old stuff that doesn't move, New stuff that we should be looking at, or overstock that just has just piled up? It does seem that most are selling the same guns more often than not. But we used to get good deals on places like Slickguns, untl 2-3 months ago.
IE: a Keltec PMR-30, finally dropped from the sky to 400, then 350, "last week or 10 days, I don't want one but it interests me below $350.00. Then some guy puts it up for $469. Now how could anyone in their semi consious mind, think that if a gun goes up $120 bucks, it's a good deal.
Same with the shield, they finally hit either $299.00 or 309.00, a week or two ago, after bottoming out at $319-329.00.
So now someone puts one up for $499.00, to which I called the Bull word. Even though it's the PC version, with NS, you can't see NS with a ported gun after the first shot, whoever did that should be fired, "get it" fired., anyhow, they would have been smarter putting a CT or lasermax on it so you could actually aim something at whatever you were shooting at, and it probably woyld have sold a bunch at no more cost to the dealer.
Meanwhile that new Shield 45 is $399, "I believe a good price" for you guys interested in a small 8 round 45.
Otherwise it's the same dozen guns over and over, the 38, 442, the sig 238, the way overpriced Kimbers, and some assorted H&K's that didn't sell in the 30S in primarily 40cal, "a lot of 40's that few are buying now" "Shields" in every caliber and config, and a few glocks usually the 40's, and XD's, a ton of XD's. Someone bought way too many XD's, but if you want one you can pick them up for a reasonable price now.
Oh and a sphinx for a thousand with shipping, that keeps hanging out.There is a great deal on 1911's from Ruger lately with that new lightweight 30 oz commander hitting a low of $599.00, great gun in 45, or 9, but the 45 has a titanium insert in the feedramp so as not to wear out the aluminum or alloy, the 9 has a ramped barrell. So good luck, and what are you looking at, if you find a good deal, we should have some where to post it. Like some Makarovs came in a month ago, new, never issued, in perfect shape, Either Weapons world, or Classic had them, and they were nice, a few bucks more, but like a new gun. Mods, how about a section for deals that our members see, and would like to pass along? It would go with the new upgrade?
