Sometimes I wish there were Manual Police!

I had a similar situation one time when I was wearing a promo tshirt from a magnetic tape manufacturer. I couldn't figure out why everyone thought I was a cop until I got home and saw my tshirt in a mirror.

Plain black with BASF small on the pocket and large across the back! No slogans or nothing, just BASF and a little icon.

Now that nobody smokes anymore, they'll have to find something else to regulate: Bureau of Alcohol, Sex and Firearms!

Heh... Ran into a tech guy about 15 years ago... I've got a prob with some warez not doing what they were supposed to do... He gets exasperated, and asks me if I had read the manual. I told him I helped write it (I'd been involved with the package since early beta), and now would he go check and see if there was a patch for the problem?

Stickers are ready. Approx. 3.5" x 5.5" in size. White cut out (like those soccer ball things you see on the backs of minivans), black cut out (a little stealthier, or good for trailers, etc.), and printed black on white. High quality material. $3.49 for the printed ones, and $4.99 for the cut out ones, postpaid. Gotta bunch more, and I'm going to try to get them online this weekend.

But then, seriously, the "Dummies" books are not, in fact, written for dummies, but rather for the common man.

I have always resented that title series, as it makes it easy and cute to denigrate the average person.

I would definitely support a title like, "Firearms For The Common Man."

Nothing condescending there, and it would, I'm sure, sell like hotcakes.

Instead, how about "Firearms for the Rest of Us" as a title? Too many of the books out there assume that someone's a hunter, etc...

I answer honestly, no, I work for the DoD. I leave out the part about what I actually do - I like to leave the mystery hanging.
