.218 Bee and .357 Herrett in my Contender. I still have a few boxes of new Bee brass, the price tag says $8 for 50.

11.7X58R, .43 Spanish, .310 Cadet, 577-450 Martini Henry, .35 Welen Ackly Improved. 7.7 Jap, .455 Webley, .40-65 Winchester. Brass and dies are much easier to get these days than 30 years ago. Where would we be without reloading?

? 6x44, 22br, 6.5x 284, 7x57 rolling block, 6.5x?? jap, and the newest to become obscure 7mmWSM

The ones I have guns for:

218 Bee
25-20
32-40
38-40
6mm Lee Navy
10mm Auto

and one I don't:( I let a "buddy" screw me out of this one)

219 Zipper, looking for this one as I have the dies and brass.

That's all I remember.

41AE, 7mmTCU, 45AR, 7.62 Nagant, 43 Spanish, 22Hornet AI, 30-30 AI, 8mm-06, Sometimes I think I don't like regular calibers and I love to make cases from another caliber.
Someone above moaned about 6mmBR not available but you can get it from several sources. But store which don't cater to bench rest shooters don't know what it is.
I've even drilled and threaded Berdan cases and made stainless insrts that hold boxer primers.

250 Sav, 303 Sav, 43 Spanish, 577-450 Martini Henry, 6.5 Carcano, 7.5 Swiss, 8x56R, 7.7Jap, 8Ga, 30 Mauser, 300H&H, 455 Webley, 32 Win Special. Cast & reload for al, have forming dies for 43 Spanish & 577-450 Martini.

let me see... .222rem, 6.5x55, 8x57 JS, 7.62x54R, some people consider them obscure. In my opinion the .222, 6.5x55, and 7.62x54r are some of the best cartridges ever designed. I have considered 9.3 x 74R for Moose, that caliber is offered in a Ruger #1.

30 Luger, 30 Tokarev, 10mm, 9mm Mak for pistols.

218 Bee, 22-243 (std and Middlested), 20 Practical, 577/450 Martini-Henry for rifles.

I load for these uncommon:
38-40
44-40
45-70
32 WIN SPL
300 Savage

And some that are really so
7.7 JAP
358 WIN
8MM Lebel
7 X 65 Brit Mauser
6.5 Carcano
30 Herrett
33 Win
45-120

6.5X53R - make brass from 303 British rounds.
Had a great time working up a load for a 8mm Gibb. Had to learn to form a false shoulder. It was rewarding when I got it to work. Kind of scary working without a published load.

I dredged this thread up, but thought it pretty interesting. Have a 6.5x257 roberts and decided to sell the beast. There ARE people out there that are willing to buy these so called obscure rifles. You guys have some dooseys !!

Well, I have a variety of obscure calibers.

7.62x25 Tokarev
7.62x38r Nagant for example.
.38 Short
.577-450 for the Martini Henry

But the crowning achievement for obscure calibers in my collection is this:
5.5 Carcano. No, that is not a typo. It was a training rifle for the 6.5 Carcano. I have never found ammo for it and I fear I may have to have rounds specially made for it. The original bullets were either wood or wax from what I have seen.

Hang out with my uncle for a while.

He shoots .33 Winchester, .35 Winchester, .348 Winchester, .405 Winchester, .25-35, .32-40, .38-55, .22 Savage Hi Power, .222 Rimmed, 6.5X54, .225 Winchester, .303 Savage, 9.3X74R, .44 Colt, .45 Schofield, .450 Adams, 9mm Largo, .30 Luger, and a 24 gauge shotgun.

I'm sure I left out more than a few oddballs, and it's not to say that's all he shoots. Most of his hunting is done with a 30-06.

I guess some of mine count as unusual, since they're not carried at the local Wal-Mart.
In handguns, .32 S&W Short, .32-20 WCF, and 9x23 Largo(Bayard).
In rifles, 6.5x52 Carcano, 6.5x55 Swedish Mauser, 7.7 Japanese, 8x57 Mauser, .303 British, and .38-40 Winchester. The local store still had some 7x57 Mauser ammo last time I checked, but it's getting harder to find lately, except at the gun shows.
