The "new improved" glock

Well when are they expected to come out with the 4th generation Glocks? They are my favorite handgun. I cant wait to trade up!!!!! Please God dont let the new Glocks have a backstrap saftey!!! It will make me switch to Sig.

Glock is going to announce a new design at the upcoming shot show. They have already ran some ads in law enforcement magazines. It will have an adjustable grip. I did not believe it when some posted a scanned copy on Glock Talk. I just simply called Glock and spoke with a lady who asked me to send her the ad in an email. She then confirmed that it was real.

That is why Glock needs to start making them over here under a subsidiary like Glock-USA.

most of the Glocks in the US were made in Smyrna, Georgia.

Are they made Smyrna, GA or are they imported to Smyrna from the Austrian factory? That makes a big difference in the laws surrounding thier manufacture.

will the 4th generation use the same Glock magazines? hope they still do. would hate buying newer mags, again

What issue did they have with weapon lights?

more than one LE agency...on both coast...were having a problem when the G22 was fired with a weapon light attached.

apparently it affects the flex of the frame. their stop gap "fix" was stronger mag springs

It looks like they import parts and assemble them in Georgia.
