The "NEW" PPK....??

I am specifically talking about the PPK here NOT the PPK/S...
basically, how are they?
I own a original german manuf one circa 1960s chambered in .32 and its a great shooter, insanely accurate, but im really Iffy about carrying it too much due to its age ect and was thinkin of picking up one of the new ones, but im not a big fan of those huge beavertail tangs....
has anyone modified one of the new ones to the old tang size?

Well since S&W are makeing also .I would say same as the new PPK/S The tang is the new and improved model so its here to stay. People have cried for years about the bite so now that is fixed.So now lets go back to old type .The tang is not that much bigger I have compaired to my Interarms. In fact about same as one on Bersa. I guess you could have a Gun smith remove but seems a waste of money to me. I have never been bit and I have large hands I didn't see need for change either but others did.
