Have a chance to buy a 95% stainless 5.5 Redhawk in 357. Circa 1985 for $600
Thoughts????

Ya, that was me....That was some other forums member's Grail gun (his/her username is escaping me). Personally it seems like an extraordinarily silly Revolver to me. That said that price seem decent if they are as rare as I am lead to believe and assuming it's in 95% condition. But ultimately you have to answer the question of is it worth $600 to you?

A slicked up Redhawk is some kind of smooth in DA.The thing I like most about the Redhawk is the double-action trigger,
They were produced from '79 to '82.
How did you date them? Last time I called Ruger, they told me they didn't have access to that info......Timeline is off here. All 3 of mine are 84 and 85.
If the OP doesn’t want it for $600, please do share where it is. I’d give that and more for another 5.5”.
Ahhhhhhh....that would explain it. I called about my Security Six, and when the rep told me that, I didn't bother calling back about the Redhawk. You got a bad rep from Ruger. I’ve been told the month of shipment of every non-Six Series firearm I have ever bought, simply by calling. It is also readily available in tabular form on their website - instruction manuals and product history.
I'm first in line.or tell us where it can be found
