Checking for primers, PV is out of Tula, a lot of other primers are " out of stock".
Other vendors aren't far behind--here we go again:(

Really? I bought 15K small pistol primers online this morning (CCI and FED)...in stock.

A local "black gun" dealer near me usually sells 25 to 30 AR's a month. In the past 4 days he has sold out with the unreal number of 314 rifles. Of course some were bulk sales to other dealers who ran out too but still, 314 rifles in 4 days!

When the President who is already against us comes out and says he will use the entire power of his office to "fix this problem of gun violence" we know he means it.

If you think 2008 was bad just watch what happens now...

Otto, well, they are "out of stock" as of now. Lucky you:) Am talkng about PV.

I sold 400,000 55 grain fmj pulls in 3 weeks. 200,000 of those were in the last 4 days. Sold out. Can't get more. Gun control fail.

As to primer/powder shortages, I can't imagine these types of posts help much. I'm betting most that stocked up on the last scare still have plenty on their shelves at home. Don't get we wrong, nothing wrong with that. What gets me is the price gouging/profiteering mentallity that I see pop up right after the shortages. Just my 2 pennies...

Speaking of Tulammo, what's the difference between their "non-corrosive boxer primers" and their "lead-free non-corrosive boxer primers".. I mean, does anyone know if the latter have a shorter shelf life, aren't as hot or reliable etc?

sportsman's in CA was busy but had plenty of stock. SPPs were scarce, but I saw a few thousand federal match spp primers. Ar15's were in stock with customers expressing interest.. They were low in stock on revolvers, otherwise no shortage here!

I just don't get it, what are these people doing with all this stuff. I guess it is a good thing that it keeps.

Oh wait a minute, I just remembered Dec. 21st is just a couple of day away. :)

I saw Natchez has a limit on primer sales. Im not a fequenter on online retailers, got primers comming out my ears. I dont know how long ago they put the limit on boxes of primers you could buy.
I bought 10K from them last week without issue. Frankly, that's all that I can afford at one time. :)

Tulammo SR primers are out at Natchez within the last half hour finally. I had been curious and been checking on that. Prior to that/this, there was no limit on any primers that I could see, unlike someone's post above.
One added note, Natchez didn't raise their primer prices at all since/during this frenzy. I'm sure adjustments will be made as new stock becomes available to them.

Well, not many can say they weren't warned to stock up this time.

Me? I'll be waiting this little rush out, just like the last time. :)

I did order 10,000 Federal Match primers yesterday along with 16lb of H1000 but I'm still using primers that I bought in the mid '90s ... some powder and bullets too!! :D

I still got close to 20 year old primers I bought 2 or 3 "scares" ago.

Since then, I've just ignored the panic buying. The truth is that there are a lot of us and eventually we will make our voices heard if necessary. Then the politicians will listen to our message. It's the ebb and flow of politics where the trend bends in one direction and then bends back like a pendulum.
