Welp, it's me again.....

This is a follow up to a couple of the earlier questions I had about Wolf primers, in general, and about the leaking Winchester primers.

We had some 'leaks' with the new lot number of Winchester primers. :fire: :banghead:
The good news is that the Remington primers sailed right on through with no trouble. We even got close to the maximum dose of 2400 with them. {more to come on the 'leaking' primer thread}

Has anyone used Wolf or Tula primers for whole hog 44 mag loads? How did they work?

Thanks again Gentlemen.

I havent used the in that capacity, but i have used the in Ruger only 45 colt loads that are over what is published in manuals. No probles. I use thier SPP in max 357mag loadings too.

I started using Wolf primers during the shortages, and believe they are just fine. I have loaded for the.44 Remingtom Magnum using heavy charges of 296, 2400, & H110, and very pleased with the results. I prefer jacketed bullets, but have also had good results with lead. Just remember, as with ALL reloading, start with the lighter published charges and then work carefully up from there if needed.

Wolf Primers

ive been using Wolf primers for my 500 S&W loads for use in my 50 S&W NEF Handi- Rifle haven't had a single issue yet matter a fact were going to switch to the Wolf preimers not only just for the cost difference because they shoot great too Kill to birds with one stone lol
