This will probably not help you and you'vd probably already thought of it anyway...Why don't you draw out a pattern and cut your own stocks?
I'vd had 3 18 inch barrels made and believe me, each one of them cost a lot of money. Of course they're Match Competition..hell, they're above Match Competition. Each one of them is a perfect barrel.
I sort of like your idea (plan) though about the shoulder stock. Shoulder stock on a Walker might be cool. Not for me but maybe for some people. I don't know about the longer barrel though. That 9 inch barrel that's on it will carry on out there pretty good for a heavy assed .457 ball. I sometimes call mine 'pocket rifle'. What I mean about the barrel is that if you are really going to get good barrels and you plan on selling these units you will have to charge each customer a hell of a lot of money just to break even. A perfect barrel is fine for your personal piece if you feel like spending the money. If you're just planning on putting some cheap trash barrel on there so you can use that as a selling point, well, I don't think it will take very long for people to decide they'll just stick with Mr. Uberti, Mr. Walker and Mr. Colt and the time tested, time proven, tried and true original design. What sort of steels are you thinking about getting these barrels made out of? What sort of testing will they be subjected to? There's a least 50,000,000 questions here just about the barrel alone. Well, anyway, not trying to tell you how or what to do. Just sitting here bored and decided to kick it around a little bit....
